This painting is the first in the Madi series which shows the paint in the original and exact order as the Madison painting. The distinguishing characteristic of the Madi Mix is that it starts and ends with the color white, as seen in the upper and lower diagonal corners. Separating the white corners is a distinguishing dark streak of violet in the middle.
